Think the Liver is Connected to Everything?

You betcha!!  Did you know most of the stones in the ducts consist primarily of cholesterol (60-90%)* (Andreas Moritz).  Do you know WHY cholesterol is produced in excess in your heavenly body?  It’s a response to too much acids.  Yes, it’s a cooling mechanism, kinda like radiator fluid.  Your car must have radiator fluid to cool the fluid of the engine, which we know as oil.  In our bodies, we call that blood.  :)  Over time they harden (calcify), blocking bile ducts in the liver and amassing stones in the gallbladder.

Why Doesn’t My Doctor Diagnose This Condition?

Because stones are “invisible” to x-ray machines.  They are not “hardened” or “calcified” (yet) in the liver, but ultrasound can pick up the calcified stones in the gallbladder.  The diagnosis of this condition is often referred to as “fatty liver.”

How Healing “Death Cycles” Work

When I started cleansing and detoxing, I had to go through many “death cycles” in my tissue.  About 3-4 years into my journey of self-healing, I had 2 major episodes of gallbladder attacks.  I couldn’t understand why they were happening?  I was eating raw (lots of nuts and seeds tho at the time), exercising, using herbs to cleanse, and water to carry away old cellular debris.

I found myself in the hospital (my honey couldn’t stand watching me writhe in pain any longer) so the doctors insisted I remove my gallbladder.  But I knew better!  I knew that if they removed it, my liver would have to work harder to digest fats, that I would lose an important component to my digestion.  I insisted they leave it since it wasn’t diseased, and I would take care of it.

On an emotional level during that time, I was eliminating years of seething resentment, repressed anger that I had supressed so deep into my body, I hardly knew I did it.  It was a coping mechanism based on a survival instinct leftover from a very difficult childhood.

Now I understand that everything goes through death cycles in order to rebirth.  Forests must burn to clear diseased trees, in order to regrow in a more prestine state.  So too my body.  Everything that comes into the body must move out of the body – which includes foods, solvents, and emotions.  My disease was leaving my body in order to begin to regrow at a cellular level.  In the moment it was scary, but looking back, my intuition knew it was NOT a permanent state of health – it was just another level of climbing a self-heaiing mountain.

Lovingly Loving Your Lovely Liver

If this information resonates with you, I hope you will join me for our monthly discussion on Liver Love, Monday November 11, 7-8:30 pm here at the Clinic.  Handouts available.  I’ll have samples of liver herbs, tonics, foods, cleanses, etc.  A short bit of information on the functions of the liver, how it works, why you need to love it now, and what you can do if you are already in the throws of liver issues.
